We decided to have a little adventure and go to another beach. Water taxis haul people around everyday, and Mykonos offers a bunch of beaches...some more "family friendly" than others. In other words, some with more nudity than others. Ornos beach was the most "covered"...string bikinis and a little toplessness. Other beaches were much more nude. We chose another "family friendly" beach ("Agrari Beach"). There was more toplessness at it, and one end was completely nude. Like nekked grandmas and grandpas. My Puritan self was saying "oh my." John was mumbling something about tea bags.
These water taxis reminded me of ( a smaller version of) the ferry that takes people across to Isla Mujeres from the mainland of Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula. Nancy and I were there one time and went across on a ferry named "Sultan of the Seas." It was epic. Good old heavy wooden boats swaying back and forth, and an old motor that sounds like it might stop puff-pop-puffin' at any moment.
The lecturer is too polite to point out what is in the background of this shot. I, on the other hand, have no such qualms.
That beautiful, clear-blue and cold water!
Jack, on realizing that there were people with no clothes on.
This last photo is for my Mom...a.k.a. "Mimi."
