Mykonos: Villa

The island of Mykonos is small but still has several towns.  Mykonos town is very touristy...well, the whole island is very touristy...but where we spent the week, in a villa at Ornos beach, was much more like a beach-bum hangout.  The drive from the port (in Mykonos town) was ~15 minutes of tiny windy roads.  Our rental was part of a group of villas...maybe 10-12?...with a small pool in the center.  Next door (joined by a gate) was a larger group of villas--maybe 30? with a much nicer pool.  Here are some photos.

This was an amazing place to stay. The upstairs porch, the bougainvillea, the gorgeous views out the window.  This is one of the nicest places I've every stayed.  Loved it.
Mom, can you see that bougainvillea growing up through the patio by the pool?  It was everywhere like that, huge and spilling over porches and patios and whole houses.  It was unreal.
