Cruise: Mykonos

During our week on Mykonos sitting in the sun and drinking beer and eating boughatsa, we purposefully did not go to Mykonos town, since we would be coming on our cruise.  It's a neat place - not as spectacular as Santorini but somehow more accessible and normal.  And the little chapels wedged in here and there were very nice - you'll see pics here of several.

We were not going to pass a reference to Zorba the Greek.  No way.

Narrow streets and great shopping.  The doorway on the right is the shop where Hannah bought her sandals.

One of the tiny chapels and one of the special vehicles that will actually fit through the streets.

Isn't my family precious?
Read about the famous windmills here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mykonos_windmills
Why did the windmills make me feel even more like Don Quixote?

A view of the waterfront of Mykonos town, known as Little Venice.

Inside Hannah's sandal shop.  She's already very good at shoe shopping.
