lots of air conditioning, 

huge pool,

comfort, 

quiet.

Outside the walls:  

big empty field, 

powdery dust, 

rows of buses and machinery, 

a worker's camp: warren of shanties with questionable water, sewage, and electricity, 

traffic 24/7, 

Khaliji sunset, 

Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese, Sri Lankan laborers, 

the crack of the cricket bat.
