That Bedouin Lifestyle

Nancy, the camel second from left is looking at you. Yes you. He wants to talk to you.

The Bedouin traditions are srsly cool. Srsly.

Lawrence of Arabia contemplating the vastness of the Sahara, or, some dude drinking an orange soda.

Note: Pictures courtesy of Ravi aka Thibodeaux Kallianpur, because my camera got all full of sand and broke.

  1. I will talk to a camel's face but not to a camel's toe.

Are those tents really modern Bedouin? How many true, mobile Bedouin still live in the region? I need to do some research!

The note about your camera is rather troublesome...

  2. There really are none left, though many many Bedu keep a camp up in the desert as a place to go out and chill, and keep up some of the traditions. There are places to go out and spend a night, which I think would be awesome when it cools off.

Please note that I keep seeing these pictures of you in scenes that upheaval my brain cell - the very brain cell that I share with The Lord Admiral. (At first, we simply shared a room...)
